Web applications built like products
A website tells; a web application does. We build the dashboards, portals, operations platforms and customer-facing apps that run in the browser and carry real work — designed around the people who use them all day, engineered to stay fast as the data grows.
01What counts as a web application
Anything with logged-in users, data that changes, and jobs to be done: an operations dashboard, a customer portal, a booking system, a marketplace, an admin panel, an internal tool. If people work inside it rather than read it, it is an application, and it deserves to be designed like one.
02What we build
- Dashboards and admin panels — the control room for a business: live numbers, exceptions, actions.
- Customer and partner portals — orders, accounts, documents and support in one place.
- Booking, ordering and scheduling systems — availability, payments, confirmations, calendars.
- Marketplaces and platforms — many users, many roles, one product. Often the start of a SaaS business.
- Progressive web apps — installable, offline-capable, one codebase for every device.
03How we build them
React and Next.js with TypeScript for the interface; Node.js or Python on the server; PostgreSQL as the system of record; authentication, roles and audit logs from the first sprint; real-time updates where the work needs them. Everything is componentised and tested, deployed on infrastructure in your name, and documented for hand-over.
04Design first
We do not decorate software; we design experiences. From the first wireframe to the final interaction, every screen is shaped around how people actually use the product — reviewed live in the browser, with your team, every week. The result is software people do not need training to use.
05Timeline and price
Working software to click within a week or two; most applications ship in eight to fourteen weeks. Fixed price after scoping, weekly demos, and a light retainer afterwards if you want us to keep building. How we work explains the process in full.
Questions we get asked
What is the difference between a website and a web application?
A website presents information to visitors; a web application lets logged-in users do work — manage orders, book, report, collaborate. Applications need data models, roles, security and performance engineering that websites do not.
Which technologies do you use for web applications?
React and Next.js with TypeScript, Node.js or Python on the server, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployment on AWS or Vercel. Proven, well-documented tools your team can maintain.
How long does it take to build a web application?
Typically eight to fourteen weeks for a first release, with working screens in the first week or two and a demo every week.
Can a web application work offline or on phones?
Yes. We build responsive, installable progressive web apps where that fits, and native mobile apps where the device features demand it.
